Marjorie Jacqueline Bouvier (better known as Marge Simpson) is one of the main characters of the Simpsons franchise, serving as one of the two tritagonists (alongside her daughter, Lisa) of The Simpsons and one of the main characters of The Simpsons Movie.

Character Info[edit | edit source]

Marge is the matriarch of the Simpson family. With her husband Homer, she has three children: Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. She is a housewife who is known for her trying to maintain order in the Simpson household. She is also known for trying to get into people's business and making it her own, despite always backfiring, such as when she convinced Otto to choose between his fiancée or his rock band (which he chose the latter) or when she got sugar banned in Springfield to look out for people's health.

An interesting fact about Marge is that when the reason for her long blue hair is because she was originally meant to have bunny ears hidden in them, but the idea was rejected.
